The Beast

An adventurer wanders through the world, he then stumbled upon a forest where no animals seems to inhabit. Upon entering, a distressed spirit greeted the adventurer asking for help to free the forest and their friends trapped inside the Beast's lair. The spirit graced the adventurer with holy blessings and acquired ethereal skills to help and guide him through the dark forest. However, not much is known about the Beast and why it appears in the first place, is there someone or something else behind the appearance of this Beast or perhaps there's something going on with the forest itself.
